LiDAR-equipped iPhone
The capture app requires iOS 18 or later and an iPhone that supports Apple RoomPlan. Unsupported devices receive an explanation instead of a degraded map.
SUPPORT
V1 needs one recent LiDAR-equipped iPhone, Wi-Fi, and an internet connection. No Mac, PC, pairing code, or second app is required.

Measurements download a bounded payload from Cloudflare over the phone’s active Wi-Fi connection. Cellular measurement is refused.
The iPhone app is a release candidate; physical whole-home, accessibility, network-variance, signing, and App Store acceptance gates remain open.
Yes. V1 measures the complete download path from Cloudflare to the iPhone, so Wi-Fi, router, ISP, internet transit, and server-side conditions can all contribute.
No. It maps observed end-to-end performance such as throughput, latency, jitter, and stalls. It does not claim to measure radio signal strength.
RoomPlan uses supported depth hardware to create recognizable floors, walls, openings, and room structure while you walk.
Yes. Compare nearby locations within one short survey and treat the map as end-to-end evidence, not proof that Wi-Fi alone caused a slow area.
No. Neutral gray means no qualified sample supports that mapped area yet. The app keeps unknown evidence separate from a measured weak result.
Yes. Verified overlaps can connect rooms and levels. Areas that cannot be aligned remain separate rather than being stacked speculatively.
